PHP Developer

We are looking for Senior PHP Developer for design, development and maintenance of our Background screening platform. In this role, you will work with cross functional team of business operations and business analysts to create and maintain existing functionality and production support.

• Review and fix any performance and security issues.
• Build efficient, testable and reusable PHP modules.
• Integration of data storage solutions.
• Writing backend code and creating efficient PHP modules.
• Work with Business analysts, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to refine and deliver projects.
• Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented.
• Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.
• Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues as-needed.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.

• Minimum 5 years experience on PHP in development and maintenance role.
• Basic programming knowledge on HTML, JavaScript and other UI technologies
• Able to design and review technical specification documents
• Experience developing and consuming APIs.
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Experience with Databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
